| Click image for a larger view |  | Ingredients |  | 5 tablespoons sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 tablespoons golden syrup |  | Instructions |  | In a heavy based pan bring sugar and golden syrup to the boil slowly stirring all the time. Simmer gently over a very low heat for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and add baking soda.
Stir in quickly until it froths up and pour at once into a greased tin.
Break up when cold.
Store in air-tight jars. | |
